Well, more power to you. I dressed very warmly just to walk to the car, drive to church, walk from the car to church, and do the reverse on the way home, and I have no plans to spend any more time outside today. Brr!
(And yes, I did live in Minnesota, but I was younger then and not cold all the time, plus I had more warm layers than I currently own.)
Good luck!

where did your warm layers go? i find myself looking for and wearing old wool sweaters and scarfs b/c they do the trick, even though they were "outdated" years ago.
Um, well, I outgrew some of them. (I was younger and svelter then.) And some of them just wore out -- good long underwear doesn't last fifteen years. And I don't buy more because really, how many days is it that cold here? (It's the same reason Minnesotans don't buy an air conditioner, even though it gets hot and humid for a chunk of the summer...)
Anyway, if I were as dedicated as you, I would find warmer layers again. I admire your persistence.
