I've been trying 2 weeks to load a pic of Mason Co., countryside home of in-laws and location of overly-hyped ride. it never went, so instead i've loaded a scanned pic of Gianni Bugno and very handsome man, circa 1992 at Tour duPont. Bugno, as you can see is in his Rainbow World Championship jersey. at the time, he was seen as a competitive opponent of Indurain. time later showed that, while he had the class, he didn't necessarily have the appetite, head, or something. major wins included '90 Giro, '91 AND '92 Worlds (back when real riders won the race post-Tour in late August), and '94 Flanders.

the other one, BTW, has no palmares to speak of, and doesn't like to remember terrible '90s wire-rim glasses
